The first month in DC, it was more like letting myself absorb the atmosphere as much as possible. I took a while to settle in, arranging things like setting a reading goal for the summer, finding a comfortable running route, deciding a workout plan, and forming a good group of friends. As the second month approached, I found myself already experienced in dealing with different situations at work, at home, or at networking scenes.
